27. BEAUTY: Maybelline Dr Rescue Nail Care Gel Top Coat

Is this the most boring blog post in the world?

Well, yes, many people would think it is. And I would have about two months ago, as I would have probably scrolled past this blog post due to it being the most boring topic of conversation going. My mum always uses top coat and I just thought it was a waste of time as well as money. However, I am a big fan of painting my nails as soon as they chip as I have a phobia of chipped nails. Sad I know.

So, a few months ago I decided I would try a top coat out to make my nail paint longer lasting. I spent ages in Boots looking at them all, with nothing to go on as I hadn't read any reviews or asked anyone's opinion. So basically, I got the first one that I looked the best and that was the Maybelline Dr Rescue Nail Care Gel Top Coat.

OMG my life has changed. I will never look back. I won't take you through the step by step process as it is v. boring but lets just say, I have already been through two bottles and my mum is also using it after my recommendation! My nail varnish now lasts around five days which means I only have to paint them on weekends (yay) and it also gives my nails a nice shiny look. I would 100% recommend this product as it retails at £2.99 so also a massive bargain.

Hurray for an easier nail varnish life!
