Hello my lovelies!
Hasn't January gone fast? Now that we are well and truly out of sale season I thought I would share with you some of the items I managed to pick up in the sale! In December my lovely (not so lovely at the time) boyfriend challenged me to not buy ANY clothes for the whole month. Not one to turn down a challenge, I accepted, and did actually complete it
but managed to swindle quite a few clothes for Christmas!
It wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be but I definitely was ready to get a few pieces when midnight hit on New Year! Anyway, there is nothing I love more than, 1. Fashion, and, 2. Finding a good bargain. So here is what landed into my shopping basket over the last month..
Whistles Lily Lace Shift Dress
Ok so this dress doesn't look like much in the photo but I absolutely love the colour, it is so pretty and will be great for the summer (I have an event already in mind..). However, what I loved more was the discount, £200 down to £50, who can argue with that?!?! The lace is so nice and it pinches you in the waist which is great for my shape. It is midi length but I think teamed with a great pair of heels it will looks great!
Reiss Lava Midi Dress
Yes, another midi dress. I am not really one for a short dress so this is going to be a recurring theme I am afraid. I have had my eye on this dress for a while as I loved the pattern but did not want to pay the Reiss price for it! The material is gorgeous and the unusual style of the dress is surprisingly flattering (I love the back!). Whilst this dress retailed for £175, I managed to basically steal it for £70! I have my brother's 21st in just over a month so this is what I plan to wear with a pair of black heels and a leather biker jacket.
Mint Velvet Black Fringe Skirt
So naturally I was drawn to this skirt because its black. But what girl doesn't need a black skirt?! I saw this wrap skirt and I just loved it, even though on of my friends told me it looked like a rug (I chose to ignore). I wear it with black knee high boots for a casual look and for just £39 from £79 it was a complete bargain!
Even though I had to dip into my overdraft I was pretty pleased with my sale picks! Did anyone else find some bargains in the sale?
